#TS Readathon TBR

The Bookstagram photo I took for the readathon, just because I’m super proud of it.

Hello, all! Long time, no see. I’m going to try and be more consistent about blogging in 2021, and I’d like to start things off with my TBR for the Taylor Swift Readathon my friend Clara is hosting on Instagram! Without further ado, let’s get to the books!

Album & Prompt: Taylor Swift | An author’s debut
What I’m reading: These Feathered Flames by Alexandra Overy
Thoughts: I’m about 16% into this book and I am already completely obsessed!

Album & Prompt: Fearless | Book from a genre you don’t typically read
What I’m reading: Rust Belt Femme byRaechel Ann Jolie (Non-fiction)
Thoughts: This was a “Read Now” on Netgalley I got when I first started my account that I’ve never gotten around to, and I’d like to finally knock it out.

Album & Prompt: Speak Now | Book in verse
What I’m reading: I Would Leave Me If I Could by Halsey
Thoughts: I’m going with poetry for this prompt because I don’t currently own any fiction books in verse.

Album & Prompt: Red | Book with a red cover
What I’m reading: Phoenix Extravagant by Yoon Ha Lee
Thoughts: This is the Jan/Feb choice for my friend Ekho‘s Book Club Hex Libris via Instagram!

Album & Prompt: 1989 | Book set in the 1980s
What I’m reading: Annie on My Mind by Nancy Garden
Thoughts: This is the Jan/Feb choice for my friend Ekho‘s Book Club Hex Libris via Instagram!

Album & Prompt: Reputation | A hyped book
What I’m reading: The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J. Maas
Thoughts: I wasn’t a fan of ACOTAR, but I promised a few friends I’d give SJM another try with Throne of Glass. I’m reading them through a T.O.G. Readalong hosted by Star!

Album & Prompt: Lover | A romance
What I’m reading: Night Tide by Anna Burke
Thoughts: Night Tide is the second book in my friend’s Seal Cove romance series. I loved the first book, Spindrift, a lot, and expect to love this one too!

Album & Prompt: folklore/evermore | A duology
What I’m reading: The Feverwake duology by Victoria Lee
Thoughts: This has come highly recommended by my friend Lexi, and I think I’ll really enjoy it!

Also, ICYMI: I started a Booktube channel! I’ve only made a couple of videos so far, but I’m hoping to establish a regular upload schedule in the next month or so!

My most recent upload – Booktube Newbie Tag!
